The Club ends its 50th Anniversary year with an Anniversary Charity Dinner in the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown. Quoted as "an evening of motorsports entertainment and nostalgia", the night certainly lived up to expectations with guests including Pamela Ballantine, Alan "Plum" Tyndall, Stuart Turner and Tommy Robb. The evening was a great success with proceeds going to local charities including the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice and St. John Ambulance.
The Annual "Fun-Run" went ahead earlier this month with all proceeds going to worthy causes. This year's "run" took in the North West 200 Circuit as well as a brief stop at Joey's Bar before returning back to Portadown.

Once again, local road racing fans mourn the loss of another well loved competitor. Club member Eddie Sinton was tragically killed in a racing incident at the Carrowdore 150 on Saturday. NAMCC would like to extend our sympathy to his mother Sheila and brother Robert at this time. Eddie was a wonderful competitor and will be sorely missed by all North Armagh members as well as those involved with the Moira Motorcycle Racing Club and the wider motorcycling community.

On 13th August, local rider and NAMCC member Gary Dynes was tragically killed while racing in Glaslough, Co. Monaghan. Up to five other riders were involved in the accident, some of whom are seriously injured. We extend our sympathy to the Dynes family and friends at this time. Since first writing a second rider, Andrew McLean has also died as a result of the accident.
Some limited edition race day programmes from this year's Tandragee 100 are still available. To mark the fact that the 250cc race at Tandragee was the last victory on home soil for Joey Dunlop, we have decided to sell off these programmes. All proceeds will go to the Joey Dunlop fund. To make a donation to the fund please send a cheque along with your name and address to:-

After over three hours of controversial negotiation surrounding the new chicane, the fans at Tandragee were given a fantastic day's racing.
The weather may not have been spectacular but the racing certainly was. Ballymoney man Adrian Archibald joined Joey and Philip McCallen in
the list of riders to notch up a hat-trick of wins on the Tandragee circuit, while Joey clinched a victory in the 250cc race. More news and
pictures from the day will follow...
